Travis Porterfield is a Georgia native based in Nashville, TN, whose music grows from southern rock and country roots. Raised around home town storytelling and real southern characters, his songs blend honky-tonk pain, swampy blues, and wide-open harmonies. Drawing inspiration from Willie Nelson, Jerry Jeff Walker, Guy Clark, The Allman Brothers, Otis Redding, and a lineage of Southern storytellers and soul singers, Travis writes with weathered warmth, keen detail, and an ear for a melody. A seasoned performer and collaborator in the Americana music circles, he balances reverence for tradition with fresh arrangements and contemporary lyrical honesty. His warm baritone and loose, soulful band arrangements have earned him loyal audiences across the Southeast. Travis continues to mine his Georgia roots while embracing Nashville’s songwriting community. His new LP, Beautiful Dreamer, was produced by Americana/Blues veteran and high school classmate Ted Pecchio. It is set to be released in May 2026.
